• Non-for-profits such as German Park are only able to make capital improvements through your generous donations and grants.
   
• In 2008 our facility was barely able to have the interior structure flaking paint removed and repainted;we also needed gas grill  and water heater repairs.Further improvments were interupted by the Flash Flood on June 4th 2008

On the Wish List for the future are:

• Playground Equipment  Goal = $ 25,000      
•  Funds raised to date = $ 9,400.00 
• Separated Womens Rest & Changing Rooms
• Electrical System Upgrade
• Basketball Court Paved
•  Environmental Management / "Go Green" for the future , "Sustain Indy"

COMMENTS::  Playground equipment dates back to early 1950's, and though the children seem to still enjoy it; parents are concerned about whether or not it is adequate for today. In addition to modern equipment we would like to provide benches for parents to watch children's activity from.

                       Changing Rooms  :In this economy; couples are seeking informal, less expensive settings for their special occasion..We'd like to be able to offer the bride & her entourage, rooms for changing , mothers room to nurse or change baby diapers.

                     Upgraded Electrical Capacity:Hardly an event occurs at the park that someone doesn't bring in inflatable amusements. We can handle a few , but big events strain our resources. When the park electrical service was installed those amusements hadn't been invented yet .
